Packers Hall Of Famer Majkowski To Contribute To Packers.com

The Green Bay Packers Tuesday announced former quarterback Don Majkowski will provide weekly analysis to the team's Web site, www.packers.com.
Majkowski, inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame this past July, will author a weekly Saturday preview of the Packers' upcoming game, noting significant match-ups and other keys to the contest.
He'll then review each week's game with a Tuesday column and additionally answer a handful of fans' questions. Fans can log on to Packers.com on Mondays to submit their queries.
His first column will appear Saturday to preview the season-opening game vs. Detroit.
Majkowski rose from humble beginnings as a 10th-round draft pick in 1987 to finish his Packers career in fifth place with 10,870 passing yards on 889 completions in 1,607 attempts, with 56 touchdowns and 56 interceptions. An elusive and effective runner, he also notched nine rushing touchdowns during his six-year Green Bay career.
Nicknamed "Majik Man," the University of Virginia alumnus performed magic during a rousing 1989 campaign that saw the Packers win 10 games, the most in 17 years, including a team-record four contests by one point. Majkowski's performance that season, which included 4,318 yards, six 300-yard games and 27 TDs, earned him Pro Bowl recognition.
Majkowski lives with his wife and their two children in suburban Atlanta where he operates a real estate business. He also frequently serves as a radio and television NFL analyst, and has a Web site, www.majiknetwork.net.
