The Green Bay Packers Tuesday waived tight end Ben Steele. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transaction.
Steele, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound player out of Mesa State, had re-signed with the Packers two weeks ago and played in each of the last two contests. He had spent training camp and most of last season in Green Bay as a reserve tight end.
