The Green Bay Packers Thursday placed ReShard Lee on injured reserve with injured ribs. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement.

Lee, a 5-foot-10, 228-pound running back out of Middle Tennessee State, had signed as a free agent, Oct. 6. In seven games, with one start, Lee had 11 carries for 16 yards and one reception for 5 yards. On special teams, Lee returned 15 kickoffs for 319 yards and posted seven coverage tackles.

Lee becomes the fifth Packers running back on injured reserve, joining Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport, Walt Williams and Chaz Williams.
