The Green Bay Packers Thursday signed defensive tackle Scott Paxson to their practice squad and released linebacker Tim Goodwell. Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson announced the signing.
Paxson, a 6-foot-4, 296-pound rookie from Penn State, originally signed as a non-drafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the spring.
