| Packers Name 10 2006 Community Quarterback Award Recipients
LUNCHEON HELD TODAY TO HONOR WINNERS FROM AROUND WISCONSIN The Green Bay Packers Thursday named 10 2006 Community Quarterback Award winners and honored the recipients at a noon luncheon in the Legends Club inside the Lambeau Field Atrium. The recipients, including two people awarded as co-recipients, were present at the event and recognized for their work in the community. Each Green Bay Packers Community Quarterback Award winner was presented with a $2,000 grant for his/her non-profit group. Funded by the NFL, the Green Bay Packers Community Quarterback Award recognizes community volunteers who demonstrate leadership, dedication and a commitment to bettering their communities. The nomination process is fulfilled by charitable organizations that nominate their distinguished volunteers. A selection committee then is appointed by each NFL team to select its winners. The winners of the 2006 awards and their affiliations are as follows: - Helen Blader, Central Wisconsin Community Action Council, Inc., Wisconsin Dells, Wis. - Larry (Moss) Dahn (Tomah, Wis.), Veterans Assistance Foundation, Inc., Newburg, Wis. - Tom Deer, Bellevue East Town Optimist Club, Green Bay - Ryan Hussey and Becca Davis (co-recipients from Appleton, Wis.), Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America-Wisconsin Chapter, West Allis, Wis. - Judi McClain, Eastshore Humane Society, Chilton, Wis. - Robert McQuillen, Northwoods Children's Museum, Eagle River, Wis. - William "Bill" Perlick, Fishing Has No Boundaries-Hayward Chapter, Hayward, Wis. - Mark F.
