Packers Fan Fest, the popular event which teams Packers fans with their favorite Packers players, past and present, is set to return to the Lambeau Field Atrium March 9-10.

The highlights again include a Friday Fan Fest kickoff event, autograph sessions and a tour through the team's famed locker room.

This year's edition features one major change: a switch to two days from the previous three-day affair. The same amount of Packers fun - autograph sessions, main-stage presentations, children's activities, etc. - has been efficiently scheduled over the course of two days rather than three. The new format, developed from attendee feedback and internal review, allows greater flexibility for local fans planning the weekend and for out-of-town guests making travel arrangements.

Thus, the schedule for Fan Fest on March 9 will be from 3 to 10 p.m., with a kickoff event at 4 p.m. On March 10, Fan Fest will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

"We're looking forward to this year's Packers Fan Fest," said Packers President/COO John Jones. "Each of the past two years we've reviewed the event and have looked for ways to improve the experience. By making this change, we can offer the same number of activities and attractions in a fun-filled two days. Fan Fest has become an eagerly anticipated event for our fans and with some of the changes we've made, we anticipate this year's edition to be another enjoyable gathering."

A total of 3,500 tickets will be available, an increase of 500 from the first two years. Priced at $75 per person for the two-day event, tickets will be distributed via a random drawing to allow all fans an equal chance to obtain them. Fans interested in entering the drawing are required to submit an application with payment, a process that can be completed online. Fans without internet access can obtain an application from the Packers' ticket office, either in person or by calling 920/569-7501.

Entries will be limited to one per household with winners allowed to purchase a maximum of six tickets. The application process begins today, Jan. 8, and ends Jan. 26, with online, in-person and faxed entries due by 5 p.m. Mailed entries must be postmarked by Jan. 26.

Selected applicants will have their payments processed and tickets mailed by Feb. 12; no refunds will be offered for those selected. Applicants not selected will have a notification letter and returned payment mailed by Feb. 12.

Interested ticket buyers can apply any time during the Jan. 8-26 window - an early entry does not increase the chance of selection. Applying for tickets does not guarantee receiving tickets. Odds of being selected are dependent on the number of applications submitted.

The ticket includes, in addition to entrance to the two-day event, admission to the Packers Hall of Fame and a tour through the Packers locker room. Children 3-and-under enter free and do not require a ticket. Parking for the event is free.

Fan Fest partners include Goodwill Industries. A portion of Fan Fest proceeds will go to charity through the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
