Packers Family Night Fact Sheet

What:
Seventh Packers Family Night, Presented by Fox 11
When/Where:
* Saturday, Aug. 4, Lambeau Field.
* Evening activities get underway in the stadium at 6 p.m., followed by on-field football drills at 6:30 and the scrimmage at approximately 7:45.
Features/Activities:
On-field football drills and an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers' offense and defense.
Sponsors: Fox 11 is the presenting sponsor. Oneida Nation is sponsoring opening ceremonies and Copp's/Pick 'n Save is sponsoring the fireworks.
Giveaway Items: All fans entering Lambeau Field for Family Night will receive a complimentary Packers' inflated #1 hand, Copp's/Pick n' Save free product coupons and sample size Roundy's label snack product.
Program: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel will be providing complimentary Training Camp guides to fans attending Family Night.
Family Picnic: Copp's/Pick 'N Save is hosting a Family Night Picnic in the east Parking Lot outside the Oneida Nation gate from 2-6pm (Food served from 2-4pm). Corn on the cob, water, brats and popsicles will be available at family friendly pricing of $1 per item. Proceeds will benefit the Roundy's Foundation supporting Hunger Relief and Families in Crisis. The Dan Mitchell Sound (jazz/folk band) will also be performing.
Oneida Nation Opening Ceremonies: The Oneida Nation is bringing in renowned artist, Brian Olsen to paint an exclusive Packers large canvas painting on Lambeau Field. The painting will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the American Diabetes Association and the Grid Iron Greats.
Pop Warner Youth Football: Four teams from the Duck Creek Pop Warner youth football club will play against each other on both ends of Lambeau Field prior to the Packers starting their football activities.
Frisbee Dogs: Eight talented dogs from the award winning America Best Frisbee dog team will delight the crowd with their athletic feats.
Mascot Football Contest: Several zany mascots will entertain the crowd in the annual Family Night mascot contest.
Packers Tundra Line: The new Packers drum line will make their debut at Family Night. Tundra Line will entertain fans at various times throughout the night.
Jersey-Off-Our-Backs Promotion: Packers once again be giving away 20 Family Night used jerseys to 20 lucky fans in attendance.
Fireworks: The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
Gift Certificate Giveaways: Throughout the evening the Packers will be giving away gift certificates for several of Atrium businesses (i.e. Curly's Pub, Packers Pro Shop, HOF) to fans in the stands.
Packers Military Support Cap Program: American Family will park their trailers at Lambeau Field for Family Night. They will be distributing schedule magnets and sharing information about the Packers hat program.
Packers Experience: The Packers Experience will be open to the public from 8:30am-5:00pm. It is located in the east parking lot outside the Oneida Nation Gate.
Tickets:
* SOLD OUT. Ticket price was $8; tickets sold out in four days.
* For the fourth consecutive year, the Packers sold-out every available seat in the bowl.
* Family Night Attendance: 1999 - 46,420; 2000 - 50,240; 2001 - 48,898; 2004 - 60,217; 2005 - 62,492; 2006 - 62,701.
Parking:
* Parking will be free at Lambeau Field, with lots opening at 7 a.m.
* Due to the potentially large number of people attending, parking will be limited. Please plan to arrive early.
Television:
* If you are not attending, Family Night will be televised state-wide on the following FOX stations: WLUK - Green Bay; WITI - Milwaukee; WMSN - Madison; WLAX - La Crosse; WEUX - Eau Claire; WFXS - Wausau.
* Nationally, Family Night will be aired on NFL Network.
Day's Timeline:
* 7 am - Parking lot opens.
* 8:30am - Packers Experience opens.
* 9 am - Atrium, Hall of Fame and Frozen in Time, Packers Pro Shop & Extra Point Stores open.
* 10:30am - Eateries open.
* 11 am - Curly's Pub and Hall of Fame Grill open.
* 2 pm - Atrium and all businesses close.
* 2 pm - Copp's/Pick 'n Save Family Night Picnic begins.
* 3 pm - Ticket office opens (window service).
* 3:45pm - Lambeau Field Gates, Atrium and all businesses re-open.
* 5 pm - Packers Experience closes.
* 6 pm - Copp's/Pick 'n Save Family Picnic ends.
* 6 pm - Duck Creek Pop Warner Youth Football Teams play on Lambeau Field.
* 6:15pm - Frisbee Dogs perform on Lambeau Field.
* 6:30pm - Packers begin football drills.
* 6:45pm - Mascot Game on Lambeau Field.
* 7 pm - Ticket office closes.
* 7:15pm - Packers return to locker room and Oneida Nation Dancers/Artist begin performance.
* 7:30pm - Packers Introduced.
* 7:35pm - National Anthem.
* 7:45pm - Scrimmage begins.
* 9:25pm -9:55pm - Lambeau Field Fireworks Display.
