'G-Force' To Make Debut Sunday At Lambeau Field

GAMEDAY PLAYER-FAN SYNERGY HIGHLIGHTED
Lambeau Field, traditionally an intimidating environment for visiting teams, this season will provide a new opportunity for fans to unite behind the Green and Gold with the debut of G-Force, an in-stadium program that will emphasize the electric gameday atmosphere the fans provide for the players.
G-Force refers to the electricity, the excitement and the anticipation players and fans feel at Lambeau Field. G-Force is the 72,000 passionate, screaming fans that intimidate the competition, and strive to make a difference on every play in every game.
"We're excited to provide the best fans in the NFL with a new gameday element they can rally behind," said Craig Benzel, Packers director of marketing and corporate sales. "While other teams around the league have supportive fans and use names such as the '12th Man,' we believe no other fans have the passion or dedication of Packers fans at Lambeau Field. That's what G-Force is."
During training camp and the preseason, Packers fans have been introduced to G-Force through the logo featuring the Packers' 'G' and the word, 'Force.' The logo has been featured on Packers.com, banners at training camp and billboards around Green Bay. Fans have been encouraged to participate through phrases such as, "Time to use your outside voice."
Sunday's game against the Eagles will see G-Force in full effect. Attendees at the game will receive G-Force rally towels as they enter stadium gates.
Other in-stadium components will feature the unveiling of the G-Force banner prior to the player introductions. The team also will show its appreciation for G-Force all season long with gameday giveaways.
