The Green Bay Packers Saturday signed tackle Orrin Thompson from their practice squad. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement.
Thompson, a 6-6, 322-pound first-year player from Duke, spent the final seven weeks of the 2006 season on the Packers' practice squad. He spent the entire 2005 season on the Dolphins' practice squad.
