Aaron Rodgers Named Packers Hall of Fame's Featured Player Of The Week

For his performance vs. the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Aaron Rodgers was chosen as the 'Packers Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week.' The exhibit contains memorabilia from the game against the Cowboys, including a game ball autographed by Rodgers.

Rodgers completed 18 of 26 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown without an interception for a 104.8 passer rating in relief of Brett Favre. For the third-year pro Rodgers, it was an impressive outing and by far the best for the former first-round draft pick, whose regular-season action has been very infrequent as Favre's backup.

The Hall of Fame's weekly exhibit, 'The Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week,' contains memorabilia from each week's game, including a game ball autographed by a featured player of the week.

Each Monday new items from the previous game will be placed in the display to be viewed by visitors to the Hall. Included among the items will be the autographed game ball, which at the end..

Mike McCarthy Press Conference Transcript - Nov. 30

OK, I'll start off with the injuries, the one true injury from the football game involving Brett Favre. He's been diagnosed with an elbow bruise. It's different than the injury he had last year against New England. It has more to do with the muscle, the belly of the muscle around the elbow. It's not as severe as last year, and he aggravated an old shoulder injury to his left shoulder. He was in for treatment today, and we see him playing next week against Oakland. With that I'll take your questions.

(Any nerve damage?)
Not that I'm aware of. I was told the injury was to the muscle. Last year it was to the nerve against New England.

(Did he get feeling back in his hand?)
It's starting to come back. Just to quote the medical staff, his streak is not in danger. He'll be OK.

(Would you consider resting him if it puts him in better shape for the long-term, like with Woodson?)
That's something we could talk..

Mike McCarthy Post-Game Press Conference Transcript - Nov. 29

(How serious is Brett's injury?)
I don't really know the seriousness of it. He has an elbow and a shoulder. We'll know more once we get him back.

(Did he have it x-rayed?)
I don't have that information. I couldn't tell you.

(Are you concerned that he might not be ready to go next week?)
No, Brett Favre, I think, has a great chance to play against Oakland.

(How did Rodgers play?)
I thought Aaron played well. He gave us an opportunity to get back into the football game. We didn't deviate from our plan. We were able to stay in our sub-personnel groups. I thought he played well tonight. I'm very happy for him.

(Given Aaron's performance, would you be more inclined to use him if Brett isn't 100 percent?)
That's something that we have 10 days to discuss. We'll be looking at the film. That's not something that we're in a position to talk about right now.

(Is Charles questionable or doubtful?)
If I were to list Charles today I would put him questionable. I am going to give him every opportunity to prepare for the game. He's pretty much around-the-clock in the training room. He's going to be a game-time decision.

(Are you encouraged by what you saw from him?)
He's improving. He's dealt with this injury before. He's making progress.

(What did he do today on the field?)
He went through the jog-through and did checks and formations, just to update the adjustments for the game.

(Is this the longest injury report you've had this year?)
I don't keep track. It's one of the longer ones. There's a lot of activity in the training room. I think it just shows you the spirit of the individuals who are trying to play. In my recollection it's about normal at this time of year. We're getting ready to make that stretch run and hopefully we can get hea..

Packers Sign S Underwood; Place DT Cole On I.R.

The Green Bay Packers have signed safety Marviel Underwood and placed defensive tackle Colin Cole on injured reserve. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, made the announcement Sunday.

Underwood, originally a fourth-round pick by Green Bay in 2005, spent two seasons with the Packers. He saw action in all 16 games in 2005 and spent all of 2006 on injured reserve. He will wear No. 43.

Cole had seen action in seven games this season and collected 13 tackles before suffering an arm injury Nov. 22 at Detroit.

The Packers also announced a practice squad transaction Sunday. The team signed cornerback Joe Porter to the practice squad and released safety Tristan Burge.

Porter, a 5-foot-10, 198-pound rookie from Rutgers, played in 44 games, including 11 starts, for the Scarlet Knights. He also participated in track, where he was the 2006 BIG EAST indoor and outdoor 200-meter champion.

(What about Tony Romo concerns you?)
Tony's a very good football player, No. 1. He makes a lot of plays. He's having a very good year. His statistics reflect that. He has the ability to find the open receiver. It looks like he plays with very good vision and instinct. When he gets out of the pocket, it's very dangerous.

(How does it help your defense to see Brett Favre every day in practice?)
Brett doesn't run around like that anymore. That part is still not there. Actually Aaron Rodgers will be a great look for our defense for the way Tony plays because Aaron's very athletic, has the ability to run around and make plays.

(Did you sign Underwood to the roster or the practice squad?)
He'll be on the 53(-man roster).

(Did you have to put Cole on IR?)
Cole will go down.

(And did you make another practice squad move?)

OK, I'll start with the injuries. Kabeer had the ankle and knee sprain. We're still running tests on Kabeer as we speak. Aaron Rouse had a knee sprain. Mark Tauscher re-aggravated his ankle sprain. So did Tracy White, same thing there. Charles Woodson had a great toe injury. Donald Driver had a slight ankle sprain. Ryan Pickett had a knee sprain, and Colin Cole had the forearm fracture. Those are the injuries, and with that I'll take your questions.

(Will Cole be out for an extended period of time?)
I really haven't talked the specifics about Colin. He won't play this week, I do know that for sure. It was a shame. He was playing very well in the game. He had the one series where he had a string of plays he made consecutively. But the time frame and all that hasn't been set yet.

(How did that happen?)
The specifics of it I don't recall.

(Is that a position where you can play with a club-cast?)

Corey Williams Named Defensive Player Of The Week

Winner Selected By Fan Vote on NFL.com

DT Corey Williams of the Green Bay Packers is the GMC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK for games played on November 18 - 19, the NFL announced Thursday.

Williams posted four solo tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in the Packers' 31-17 win over the Carolina Panthers. His second-quarter sack and forced fumble ended a Carolina drive in Green Bay territory at the end of the half.

Williams was selected from among five finalists by voters on NFL.com. The other finalists were defensive end Shaun Ellis of the New York Jets, defensive end Patrick Kerney of the Seattle Seahawks, free safety Brodney Pool of the Cleveland Browns and cornerback Antrel Rolle of the Arizona Cardinals.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for GMC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com throughout the month of January.

Injuries: Kabeer had the ankle injury, did not return. Charles Woodson had a toe, he did not return. Aaron Rouse had a knee, he did return. Colin Cole had a forearm fracture and did not return.

(What about Driver?)
I think he's going to be okay. He returned to the game and played down the stretch there.

(What was your thinking throwing 17 consecutive passes?)
Well, you never think he's going to miss one. As far as the heavy pass, we went to that in the second quarter. It was really just reaction to what was there. I anticipated a little more two-shell defenses, and a different variety of some of the formation personnel groups that we were in, so we went that way just more of a reaction to how they were playing us.

(How did Brett play, especially with all the consecutive completions?)
That's what you look for. To be able to (put) him in there with good tempo, the quarterback was making good decision..

Packers-Lions Press Box Notes

PACKERS, LIONS RENEW HOLIDAY RIVALRY
-Green Bay renews a Thanksgiving rivalry as it takes on division foe Detroit in the annual holiday contest for the first time since 2003.

-Green Bay comes into the contest winners of 13 of its last 14 games and tied for the NFC's best record.

-With a win this past Sunday over the Panthers, the Packers are off to their best start since 1962, when Vince Lombardi led Green?Bay to a 10-0 start en route to a 13-1-0 record and the eighth world title in franchise history. The team also started 10-0 in 1929 and went on to capture its first NFL title under team founder Curly Lambeau.

-Green Bay has won seven of its last eight games against NFC North opponents, dating back to last season. Head Coach Mike McCarthy has yet to lose a division game on the road (4-0).

-Including a pair of playoff clashes early in quarterback Brett Favre's career, this marks Game No. 156 in the venerable Detroit-Green Bay seri..

PR Tramon Williams Named NFC Player Of The Week

Packers punt returner Tramon Williams was named Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the 11th week of the 2007 season (November 18-19), the NFL announced Wednesday.

Williams set the tone early with a 94-yard punt-return touchdown in the Packers' 31-17 victory over Carolina to help Green Bay improve to 9-1. In the first quarter of a scoreless game, the Panthers lined up for a field goal but instead executed a pooch punt. Williams fielded the bouncing ball at his own six-yard line and sprinted up the right sideline for a 94-yard touchdown to give the Packers a lead they would not relinquish. Williams' return tied for the second-longest punt-return touchdown in franchise history, one yard shy of the team record (95 yards, STEVE ODOM, 11/10/74 vs. Chicago).

In his first season from Louisiana Tech, this is Williams' first career Player of the Week Award. He is the second Packer to be named Special Teams Player of the Week this season, joining rookie kic..

(How did Ryan Grant look today?)
He looked fine. We really just had a walk-through. Didn't really get into a full practice. But he seems to be doing OK.

(Strong enough to do 22 or 25 carries if you need it?)
We'll find out.

(Who would be second behind him?)
Brandon Jackson.

(Do you have any additional meetings in Detroit because of the short week or is this just a normal road trip?)
This will be a normal road trip. We've finished our work as far as classroom, walk-through and so forth. We'll have a team meeting tonight at 9 o'clock, and we'll get up in the morning and go play the game.

(Can you talk about the type of person Ryan Grant is and how that relates to the success he has enjoyed?)
He's a very serious young man, has come to us from New York. He's really dedicated himself with the extra time he spent with Edgar Bennett. I don't really know him beyo..

(Were you healthier today than you expected to be?)
A little healthier. It was a cut down practice so we did a lot of job-through.

(How long did you go with the team part?)
We went through the normal team periods. I cut out a 7-on-7 and I cut out base run and pass, play-action pass team drill than a normal practice, about 25 minutes of a normal (practice).

(Is tomorrow basically a jog-through only?)
More of a walk-through. It's a travel day for us. We'll work on a Friday schedule. We'll meet in the morning. Then we'll have a walk-through in the gymnasium. Then we'll go down below and refer to it as a jog-through, but it's more of jog-through with the offense. The defense is more of a walk-through. So we'll do that. Come up and have lunch. Then go get on the plane.

(Has Grant been able to put all of his weight on that ankle?)

OK, I'll give you the injury update. Ryan Grant has a mild ankle sprain, and we're hopeful he'll be able to go Thursday with the short week. He'll be day to day. Johnny Jolly has a significant shoulder strain, and it will be at least a couple of weeks, at a minimum. With that I'll take your questions.

(Will Jolly need any surgery?)
Pat doesn't have enough information, so just like I've stated, I'll use the exact words that he gave me, that it's going to be a minimum of a couple weeks. A lot of swelling.

(How do Harrell's chances to play look this week?)
He'll definitely have a chance to be part of the rotation.

(How did Jolly injure the shoulder?)
It was either the first or second play of the game. He had his arm extended and someone fell on his shoulder. I haven't seen the film so I didn't see the specific play but that's the feedback I was given.

Thanksgiving Serves Up Classic Games

Thanksgiving is always a great day.

The family is together. The food is great. And, invariably, so is the football.

The NFL will present fans with a Thanksgiving tripleheader this Thursday as traditional competitors Detroit and Dallas host games during the day and NFL Network kicks off the first of its eight primetime games this season with a nightcap featuring the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons.

Some of the most memorable NFL games in history have been played on Thanksgiving Day - the "Clint Longley" game...the Cowboys-Dolphins' "snow" game...Barry Sanders running for 167 yards and three touchdowns...and many others.

There may be memories waiting to happen Thursday. At 12:30 PM ET on FOX, the Green Bay Packers will visit the Detroit Lions. It will be the Lions' 68th Thanksgiving game in their history.

At 4:15 PM ET on CBS, the Dallas Cowboys will play their 40th Thanksgiving game when they host the New York Jets. It will be a..

(What is the injury situation?)
Johnny Jolly has a shoulder. I spoke to Johnny coming in off the field. He thinks he'll be fine for Thursday. I haven't gotten a specific diagnosis from the doctor. Ryan Grant is an ankle sprain.

(Will Grant be able to go on Thursday?)
I'll know more tomorrow. I'm sure when he wakes up tomorrow there will be a better indication of how bad it is.

(What's it like having the best start since 1962?)
No disrespect to history, 9-1 is impressive, but you have to keep focus on the next opponent. We beat a good football team today, a football team and a football coach that I have a lot of respect for. They've won a lot of football games during John Fox's tenure down there so we knew this game would be a challenge for us. I thought we played well in all three areas. With a short week, we don't have much time to enjoy 9-1 because it is time to move on to Detroit, which will be a big division ..

Army Spc. Gregory Manning and his family will be guests of the Packers and Festival Foods at Sunday's game vs. the Carolina Panthers for 'Operation Fan Mail.'
-The Packers host their second consecutive home game one week after improving to 8-1 for the first time since 2002.

-Green Bay comes into the contest winners of 12 of its last 13 games and tied for the NFC's best record.

Mike McCarthy coached the Packers to their first whitewash since 2002 over the Minnesota Vikings who endured their first shut out since 1991 by a score of 34 - 0.
(What did Tauscher do in practice?)
He went through the first part of practice and frankly I just wanted to see how well he could move and how he felt. He felt very good. The plan was just to use the first half-an-hour of practice as a testing opportunity and he went through that and we'll see how he feels tomorrow, but I just wanted to make sure that he's able to, his weight distribution and the soreness and so forth because I want to make sure he has 48 hours to get ready for the game.

(Is he one of those guys who has so many reps in his body that it's OK, although not ideal, that he didn't take a single team rep in practice this week?)
Correct. Him participating today had nothing to do with him preparing for the football game. It was clearly a medical evaluation and we used that segment of practice to get that done.

(From what you saw, did he pass that test?)

Packers Coach Of The Week: Dave Wills, Southwestern High School

Dave Wills, of Southwestern High School, has been named Green Bay Packers Coach of the Week, the organization announced Wednesday.

"This award means a lot to me and our program," Wills said. "The kids deserve a lot of the credit. They're the ones who have to go out there and play. As a coaching staff we just tell them what we want them to do. They have to go out and execute it. I can't say enough about how well we've been playing."

The Wildcats (9-4) defeated Hillsboro, 42-7, on Friday night at Lancaster to advance to the WIAA Division 7 state finals next Thursday at Camp Randall in Madison.

"The kids have been playing excellent," Wills said. "The defense has been outstanding. We've beaten four great teams, three of them were conference champions."

Wills has been a part of the Wildcats program for 29 years and has experienced every single playoff game in the school's history.

"I've been a part of all the playoff appearances as a player, as..

Mike McCarthy Press Conference Transcript - Nov. 14

(How did practice go with such a banged-up offensive line?)
It was a little disjointed. I thought the quality was there. It wasn't our best Wednesday practice. There are some things that we need to get cleaned up in our post-practice meetings. We got our work done.

(If Tauscher's ankle doesn't come around, are you confident Coston or Moll will be healthy enough to play?)
I think the week will answer that. We had Junius out there today. We'll see how he is post-practice. Tony made it through the practice. We're a little banged up right there.

(When did Colledge's back flare up?)
In the jog-thru. It's something that he struggled with through the game. It wasn't really that big of a deal. It was bothering him. He had it treated and it flared up on him today.

(Is there something about this team that gives you hope it will handle success?)
I'm doing more than hoping. I'm obviously conc..

Transcript - Mike McCarthy Conference Call With Panthers Media - Nov. 14

On the Panthers
From what we have seen of the Panthers on film they have always been a physical football team. I have had some experience playing against John Fox and his football team from my years in New Orleans. I have a lot of respect for the way John goes about his business. I like the way they play. They challenge you schematically. If you go through their defense, their defensive line is the starting point. They don't have the depth that maybe they had in the past, but we are looking at this as a big time challenge. People can look at their road record and this team is 4-1 on the road. This is a game that we expect to be physical challenge.

On Brett Favre
Brett Favre has been very important to this football team. He is playing very well and at a very high level. In some game plans we've been very heavy in throwing the football. He has done an excellent job of handling the protection and everything that's involved in that. ..

On the offense playing well
It's been good. Our biggest thing is that we know we can execute. Early on in the season we were playing well but we weren't playing our best offensively. I think last week proved we can score at any time. I think when we run three, four, and five wide receivers people get scared and nervous.

On the offensive weapons
This has probably been the best receiver group I've played with in a long time. Our running game is now up to par. Now, a lot of people are expecting our offense to run the ball well. Our offensive line is blocking well. All around, on offense right now, we are solid.

On the difference in Brett Favre
I don't see any difference in him. I've been with him 10 years. It doesn't change with me. Some of these guys, this is their first year. Like Greg Jennings, this is his second year with Brett, so he may see a little more difference in Brett than I do. I've seen hi..

Green Bay Packers Hall Of Fame, Inc. Announces Donation Of Rare 1934-35 Autographed Game Ball

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame, Inc., Tuesday announced the donation of a very rare autographed game ball from the 1934-35 Green Bay Packers by James Miller in the name of his mother, Mayme Toule Miller.

Mayme Toule Miller was the manager of the Astor Hotel from 1928 through 1938. The downtown Green Bay hotel, located on North Adams Street, was the "home away from home" during the season for many Packers.

Miller befriended many players during that time, including Roger Grove (back, 1931-35). Grove presented the ball Miller sometime during the 1935 season as a token of their appreciation for the fine accommodations the players received at the hotel. Grove had Curly Lambeau and all the players sign the ball.

Included on the ball are Pro Football Hall of Famers Lambeau, Arnie Herber, Clarke Hinkle, Don Hutson, Johnny "Blood" McNally, Mike Michalske and Cal Hubbard, with Hubbard also a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame - the only player to be a member of..

OK, I'll give you the injury update from the game. Mark Tauscher has an ankle sprain. He'll probably miss some practice time this week. Cullen Jenkins had a knee bruise, he may miss some practice time this week. And Tracy White had an ankle sprain going into the game, and we'll probably hold him until Friday. So with that I'll take your questions.

(Could Tauscher have gone back into the game?)
Yes he could have.

(Are you surprised at the emergence of Ryan Grant?)
Ryan Grant was someone our personnel department had been watching. I know with the whole group of running backs in New York, they felt there was a lot of depth there throughout the preseason. I really liked his running style when he was presented to the offensive staff, and he really fits what we're doing. He runs downhill, he's a one-cut mentality. I've been impressed, I didn't really know that he was as effective as he's been on the second level. It's nice when you ge..

For his performance vs. the Minnesota Vikings, running back Ryan Grant was chosen as the 'Packers Hall of Fame Featured Player of the Week.' The exhibit contains memorabilia from the victory over the Vikings, including a game ball autographed by Grant.

Grant, with 25 carries for 119 yards and a score, became the first 100-yard rusher this season against Minnesota's second-ranked run defense.

Mike McCarthy Post-Game Press Conference Transcript - Nov. 11

I'll start with our two injuries. Mark Tauscher had an ankle. He did not return but he could have. Cullen Jenkins banged his knee at the end. With that I'll take your questions.

(What does this win say about your team?)
A very good performance by our football team in all three phases. We anticipated a very physical game with Minnesota today, especially after the game at the Metrodome. I thought our guys really prepared well, starting with the defense with the shutout and stopping the run. That was the emphasis going into the game. Offensively, we wanted to establish our run game. It was a completion-oriented mindset as far as game plan against their defense. I thought the quarterback was sharp in that regard. I thought we were a little sloppy with the passing to start the game, in the first quarter. For the most part, I was very pleased with the performance in all three phases. That's clearly our best performance this year.

Army Sgt. Matt Williams and his family will be guests of the Packers and Festival Foods at Sunday's game vs. the Minnesota Vikings for 'Operation Fan Mail.'

Williams, a resident of Onalaska, Wis., recently finished a tour of duty in Iraq with the 2nd Brigade as the lead gunner for the brigade's Personal Security Detachment and Quick Reaction Force.

He originally began his military service at Fort Benning, Ga., in May 2002, and also has served in Kuwait for Operation Desert Spring.

Matt will be accompanied Sunday by his father, Jim, mother, Kim, and sister, Meredith.
New this season, 'Operation Fan Mail' is a program in which the Green Bay Packers and Festival Foods recognize a military family at each home game.

PACKERS HOST VIKINGS IN NFC NORTH SHOWDOWN
-After collecting their sixth consecutive road victory at Kansas City, Green Bay returns home to take on division foe Minnesota for the final meeting of the season series.

-Green Bay comes into the contest winners of 11 of its last 12 games.

-What's more, the Packers are off to their best start since 2002 and stand tied with Dallas for the best record in the NFC.

-The Packers look to win consecutive Lambeau Field games over the Vikings for the first time since 2000-02 when they took three straight.

-One of the NFL's great rivalries, the border war between Minnesota and Green Bay has exhibited great parity. The two clubs face off Sunday for the 94th time, with Green Bay only holding a slight advantage (47-44-1) in the all-time series.

-The series stood dead even at 44-44-1 when both clubs introduced new head coaches in 2006. Since taking over for the Packers, Mike McCarthy has won..

(Have you decided on your starting guards?)
Well, Juice Coston's availability was not what we had hoped. So if we had played the game today, it would be Spitz and Colledge. But I'm going to give Juice the next 48 hours to see where he is.

(How did Colledge respond to the challenge this week?)
He responded the way you want to. Daryn is a man's man. He understands everything that we're concerned about. It's not just something that just popped up. This has been going on for a couple weeks, and we're just looking for some consistency from himself and from the whole line in particular in the run-blocking phase. I think they've done a very good job in the pass protection.

(If you see what you'd like to see from Coston, how would that change things?)
I'm not going to go there. The medical part of it is something you can't control. Junius is not 100 percent right now. But it did factor into how we repped them these l..

(How bad is Chad Clifton with that knee?)
Just a normal Wednesday for Chad. He has some history with his knees and we're just being cautious with him.

(Did Grant pass all his concussion tests?)
He's close. Dr. Gray feels good about him. We went non-contact today. We feel that he'll be fine for Sunday. It was a preliminary diagnosis.

(Are you inclined to give somebody else a shot at left guard this week?)
Am I inclined? We have a rotation going on with our guard positions. We'll do that Thursday and Friday and I'll make a decision at the end of the week.

(Are there enough reps to go around in practice?)
It's not ideal. You'd like to think that you're beyond that at this point in the season but that's where we are. The productivity and performance level of that position needs to improve. We're going to give the three guys an opportunity and see where we are at the end of the week.

'Festival Of Lights At Lambeau Field' Returns Dec. 8

SEARCH FOR HOLIDAY TREE UNDERWAY

The Green Bay Packers and Festival Foods again will usher in the yuletide spirit with the second annual 'Festival of Lights at Lambeau Field,' Saturday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.

This year's event features one change: the Packers are looking for help in finding a magnificent tree. Anyone from Wisconsin or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan who has a 35-45 foot evergreen tree and wants to donate it to the event is asked to submit a proposal, in 100 words or less, on why his or her tree should be used for 'Festival of Lights' and displayed at Lambeau Field through the holiday season. Proposals should include a photo of the tree, and can be submitted through Monday, Nov. 19.

The Packers will arrange for the tree to be harvested and transported to Lambeau Field. The owner of the selected tree will receive four tickets to the Packers-Raiders game, Dec. 9.

The family-themed event, free to the public, will feature music..

OK, I'll start with the injuries. Nick Collins has a knee bruise. He'll be at least a couple weeks. Ryan Pickett also has a knee. I think he'll be fine by the end of the week. Tracy White had an ankle sprain, and Ryan Grant had a concussion. Those are the four injuries of significance, and with that I'll take your questions.

(How comfortable are you with Rouse stepping in on an every down basis?)
I thought Aaron played solid. He graded out in a positive light. But if he has to go, I feel very confident in him, just like we played when Nick went down. We'll be fine.

(For Collins, you said a bruise but it's a couple of weeks?)
Yeah, a strain. Knee strain, bruise. Did I not use the right choice of words? Everybody saw it, it looked a lot worse on film. The evaluation was actually positive. The MRI was positive, based on what Pat McKenzie said, because we all figured the worst the way he went down. But he said it was going to be at ..

Okay I'll start with the injuries. Tracy White had an ankle; he did return. Nick Collins had a knee; he did not return. Corey Williams also had a knee; he did not return. Ryan Grant had a possible concussion. He missed some of the fourth quarter.

(What happened with that fourth quarter?)
That was a heck of a football game. I'm sure it was a great game to watch with the change of momentums and a great environment for the home team. It's an excellent win for us. We knew this was a tough football team coming in here. Offensively, for us to score (over) 20 points - first time they've given up over 20 points this year - I think it's a credit to our guys. We had some big plays, some key plays in the fourth quarter. Defensively, I thought we did an excellent job in the first half. We had some plays there and some things we need to clean up there defensively, and I thought special teams was solid. What can you say about Mason Crosby - I thought he had a heck of a..

(How much did the day off benefit Koren?)
It did benefit him. He felt good today, and he had a quality work day. We'll probably see how he responds as we move forward. But that was the schedule we wanted to go into the first week, based off of how his knee felt after five practices.

(Do you feel better about Wells after seeing him practice?)
I feel a lot better. He practiced again today, and he feels much better today. Hopefully he's got the illness behind him.

(Are you going to start Wells?)
I'll wait until Sunday to talk about that. But the way we worked the reps, we worked, if we played today Jason would start.

(And Moll at right guard?)
Same way we did last week.

(Will you wait until Sunday on Robinson?)
Correct, yes. Really tomorrow will be a big indicator.
