The Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year trophy presented Dec. 4 to Packers quarterback Brett Favre is on display in the Packers Hall of Fame through the end of December.

The sterling silver trophy, crafted by Tiffany & Co, was on display Sunday in the Lambeau Field Atrium for fans attending the Packers' victory over the Raiders.

The Sportsman of the Year award is given annually by the magazine to the athlete who best symbolizes in character and performance the ideals of sportsmanship.

Favre is the fourth NFL player to be named Sportsman, and all have been quarterbacks: Terry Bradshaw (1979, with Willie Stargell), Joe Montana (1990) and Tom Brady (2005) were the others. Favre is the first Green Bay Packers player to earn the honor.

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is open on non-game days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of opening at 8:30 a.m. on the day prior to and after a game. Hours may vary on game days and holidays. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and older), $5 for children 6-11, and children 5 and under are free. Group pricing is available for schools and other groups; for more information, contact the Hall of Fame at 920/569-7512. Information also is available online at www.lambeaufield.com.

For fans desiring to visit the Hall and take a Stadium Tour, combination pricing for an adult is $19, a savings of $2. Combination pricing only is available where Stadium Tours are sold.
