Read the 'Packers Fan Memories' archives or Submit your own favorite memory This Week's Photos Hey Packers fans, here's your chance to share with other fans from around the world your favorite memories of the Green and Gold! Each week, Packers.com will post a feature called 'Packers Fan Memories.' In this week's edition you'll find a 50th birthday celebration in Title Town, a life long Packers fan see's "Majik" and a first lady that had her share of first time experiences at Lambeau Field. My wife and I attended the Packers-Vikings game on December 21st en route to visiting our families in Minnesota and Michigan for the holidays. It was our second trip to Lambeau together, the first visit since the Packers' showdown with Detroit in November of 1999. I cheered so long and hard during the game that I could hardly speak for the next five days! What a great trip to see Favre and the gang beat the Vikings!
Tim- Cornell, Mich. ** I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday by watching Brett Favre play football at Lambeau Field! Since my husband is a Bears fan, we chose to attend the Packers-Bears game on Sept. 10, 2006! The game didn't go the Packers way, but we still enjoyed the experience. Everyone we met in Green Bay was a great ambassador for the city. The Packers will always be #1 with me, and I will always cherish memories of my first visit to Lambeau Field. Who knows, maybe we can return next year and sit in the "Lambeau Leap" section!
Louise- Omaha, Neb. ** In 1989, I was an 11 year old kid who idolized Don Majkowski. As far as I was concerned, I was the "Majik Man" with my long hair and white shoes! I spent many a day recreating the "Instant Replay Game" in my back yard. In 2005, I finally was able to meet my hero in Fond du Lac. It was a powerful moment for me because I had come full circle from my childhood. I will never forget that moment meeting Majik. By far, my most profound Packer memory!
John - Chippewa Falls, Wis. ** Going to the Packers vs. 49ers game and getting a chance to watch Brett Favre play football was an amazing experience. When I walked into Monster Park I immediately looked on the field and saw him throwing warm-ups and it was incredible! It was almost as if I were in a dream. Favre went on to torch the 49ers for two touchdowns and 293 yards through the air. Also, just watching the Packers play is something a kid from southern California dosen't get to do everyday, but that ticket and gas money were worth every penny!
Jon- Carpinteria, Calif. ** October 29, 2006 was a day full of "firsts" for the Packers, as well as myself! It was my husband and I's "first" time at Lambeau field (which was an AWESOME experience!), Brett had his "first" Lambeau leap and it was also the Packers "first" home victory for the 2006 season! Another thing that tops this all off is that my husband is the Mayor of our town and that makes me the "First Lady"! Lots of firsts and in my book that's makes us all #1!
