After 42+ years serving and working with the United States Air Force, I finally retired and moved back to Wisconsin. In September of 2007, I decided I had better catch a Packer game, so I took the trip to see the Chargers game. What a thrill and what a memory. In December I made it down to Kiln, Mississippi to see the hometown of a legend. A great year!

My first time to Lambeau field was during the playoffs when the Packers were playing the Giants. When we arrived at the mecca (Lambeau Field), it was so cold that we hung out in the atrium for two hours. It was there that I Sharpie'd my brothers face in the Packers logo and put on my A.J. Hawk jersey and Packer tattoos. From the second I stepped into the below-zero stadium I watched in awe as I saw Bart Starr do the coin toss, watched the Packers play their hearts out, and witnessed Brett Favre's last game. Thanks, Dad!

October 29, 2006 is a day I will never forget. I had the opportunity to attend my first Packers game at Lambeau Field with my father. I was 25 years old, at the time. My father surprised me with the tickets. The Packers beat the Cardinals 31 to 14 that Sunday. Seeing Brett Favre rush for his first touchdown in 5 years, and then following it with a Lambeau Leap, was bittersweet. It was his first and last. I will never forget that moment! It still gives me chills thinking about it today! Thanks 4 the memories, Favre!

This picture was taken before the snow started falling prior to the great "Snow Bowl 2008," when the Packers defeated the Seahawks. This was one of the best days/nights of our lives. See, while we all now live in different cities, we all went to Green Bay's Southwest High School (class of '87) together. There's nothing like forgetting about some of the curve balls life threw our way and taking in a Packers game at Lambeau Field. After the game, we all went back to our lives, our responsibilities, with a huge feeling of thankfulness. Go Pack Go.

I started watching the Packers play in the 1994 season. I was just a kid, but watching a new arrival in green and gold brought interest to me. It was Favre's new start and a whole new one for me. From then on, I knew this was my team, and it continues to be today. My world went crazy when I finally got my chance to go to Lambeau Field. Even though it wasn't a game, I had the best time ever. I will always be a Packer fan!
