- Signed by Green Bay as a non-drafted free agent on May 4, 2009
- A three-year collegiate letterman who achieved an unlikely feat by transferring to Maryland from Division III Christopher Newport University and becoming a regular contributor during his junior and senior seasons for the Terrapins
- Played in all 13 games as a senior in 2008, starting three of them at defensive end
- Rotated between defensive end and tackle throughout the season and finished with 21 tackles, including three for loss, and 2½ sacks, the third-highest mark on the team
- Was named the 2008 recipient of the George C. Cook Memorial Award, given to the senior on the team with the highest grade-point average, while also being one of six Terps to earn Academic All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors
- Achieved several career milestones as a senior, starting his first career game vs. Eastern Michigan (Sept. 20), recording his first full sack at Clemson (Sept. 27), and posting a career-best three tackles on two occasions
- Also had the sixth-highest strength index on the team during the offseason prior to his senior year
- Saw his first action as a redshirt junior in 2007, playing in six games at defensive tackle and tallying four tackles on the season
- Received the team’s George Boutselis Memorial Award as the program’s letterman with the highest GPA
- Had the third-highest strength index in the offseason program, and set a school record for defensive linemen with his 370-pound clean in the weight room
- Redshirted while sitting out the 2006 season due to NCAA transfer rules
- Was a teammate of fellow Packers non-drafted free agent offensive lineman Dane Randolph during his final two seasons in the program
- Earned a B.S. in general business and is now working toward an MBA at the school
- Played as a sophomore at Christopher Newport in Newport News, Va., appearing in eight of the team’s 10 games at different positions across the defensive front
- Made 19 tackles, including two for loss and one sack, earning academic All-USA South Athletic Conference honors following the season
- Appeared in just one game as a freshman in 2004, collecting a pair of assisted tackles
- Prepped at T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va., lettering in football four times as both an offensive and defensive lineman and also serving as the team’s kicker and punter
- Earned all-district honors as a defensive lineman in 2003 and was named team MVP following his senior season
- Also lettered three times in basketball and once in crew
- Began working as an intern at the local Morgan Stanley offices while in seventh grade and has maintained an ongoing employment with the financial services firm ever since
- Worked at office locations in both Alexandria and Reston (Va.) after school while still in high school and continued during the summers while in college
- Has five brothers and sisters
- Enjoys watching movies (naming Remember the Titans as his favorite), watching television, and playing the video game ‘Rock Band’
- Single, lives in Alexandria, Va.
- Given name Dean Muhtadi; born in Fairfax, Va.
