Montgomery, a 6-foot-5, 282-pound sixth-year player out of Texas A&M, was selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft and played in 56 games with eight starts during his five seasons in Green Bay (2005-09). He signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent in March 2010, but was released in the final roster cutdown in September. The Packers re-signed Montgomery on October 15, 2010.
