Vicki Vannieuwenhoven
Vice President of Finance
Vicki Vannieuwenhoven, the Packers' director of finance since 1999, in 2007 begins her first year as the organization's vice president of finance. She is the first female vice president in the 89-year history of the organization.
Named to the position April 3, 2007, Vannieuwenhoven's expanded responsibilities include leading the day-to-day financial operations of the club in addition to some of the revenue-generating departments and human resources. She also works on NFL economic issues such as revenue sharing.
Vannieuwenhoven (pronounced van-EVEN-hoh-ven), a certified public accountant, also will continue to oversee the audit process and work closely with the organization's treasurer, the Board of Directors' audit and investment committees, and the stadium district.
"Vicki has done an outstanding job and has grown tremendously through the years as she's taken on more responsibility in the administration," said Packers Chairman Bob Harlan. "Her understanding of the NFL financial landscape is very strong. She has worked closely with the league on that front through the years. She has a very bright future with the team and will continue to play a significant role in the organization's success."
Vannieuwenhoven, 41, originally joined the Packers Feb. 13, 1995, as an accountant after working as an auditor in public accounting at both Ernst and Whinney in Milwaukee (1988-89) and Wipfli, Ullrich, Bertelson (now Wipfli LLP) in Green Bay (1989-95).
Promoted to director of finance in 1999, she has coordinated the organization's annual audits, including that of the NFL Salary Cap, and also was instrumental in establishing a human resources department and staff development program.
The Crivitz, Wis., native earlier graduated as class valedictorian from nearby Crivitz High School (1984), where she played basketball and volleyball. She then graduated from St. Norbert College (1988) with a degree in accounting.
Active in the community, Vannieuwenhoven is a member of Management Women, Inc., a Green Bay organization that supports the professional development of women, and the Green Bay Exchange Club, a service organization that works toward the prevention of child abuse and promotes patriotism. She also is involved in New North, an organization whose goal is to foster economic development and broaden the visibility of the 18-county region of Northeastern Wisconsin, with its considerable assets and resources, as a great place to live and work. Vannieuwenhoven teaches religious education at Ss. Edward and Isadore Parish as well.
Vannieuwenhoven is married to Trevor, and the couple lives in Pulaski, Wis., with their three children: sons Tanner, 13, and Hunter, 11, and daughter Tatum, 9. In her time away from work, she enjoys following the many sports and other activities of her children, and plays golf and basketball.
