GREEN BAY – Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been voted the FedEx Air Player of the Week for his 425-yard passing performance in Green Bay’s comeback victory over the 49ers on Monday night.
Rodgers finished Monday night’s game 25-of-46 for 425 yards and two touchdowns for a 100.4 passer rating. He directed a 58-yard touchdown drive to tie the game with 1:55 left and then an 81-yard drive in the final 1:07 for a walk-off field goal to give Green Bay its third win on the season.
The performance was Rodgers’ second straight with at least 400 yards passing, making him the first QB in Packers history with back-to-back 400-yard games. He now has six 400-yard passing games in his career, while no other QB in franchise history has more than one.
Rams RB Todd Gurley was named FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 6.
