The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Alphonso Carreker and James Starks for the game on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. to noon.
Carreker will be visiting with fans and signing autographs at surprise locations around Lambeau Field on gameday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Starks will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'
A first-round draft pick for Green Bay out of Florida State in 1984, Alphonso Carreker played for the Packers for five seasons, playing in 72 games. During his time with the team, the defensive end registered three fumble recoveries, one interception and 18.5 sacks, with four of his sacks coming in a single game against Tampa Bay in 1985. Following his time in Green Bay, Carreker finished his NFL career playing two seasons with the Denver Broncos.
Selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, James Starks played his entire career with Green Bay, playing in 76 regular-season games and 10 postseason games in seven seasons. As a rookie, he was the starting running back during the team's Super Bowl XLV championship run, rushing 81 times for 315 yards during the 2010 postseason stretch. Starks went on to score nine rushing touchdowns and six receiving touchdowns during his Packers career, contributing to an offense that ranked in the league's top ten for six out of his seven seasons.
