Five Packers lead 2020 Pro Bowl fan voting

Green Bay ranks third in overall votes by team

GREEN BAY – Five Packers players lead their respective position groups in overall fan votes for the 2020 Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Green Bay Packers tackle David Bakhtiari (43,362), outside linebacker Preston Smith (33,583), strong safety Adrian Amos (14,366), kicker Mason Crosby (13,713) and punter JK Scott (12,110) lead all NFC players at each of their positions through the first week of online fan voting.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers ranks seventh league-wide in total fan votes.

Other players in the top 10 at their respective positions in the NFC include Rodgers (No. 2), running back Aaron Jones (No. 4), fullback Danny Vitale (No. 2), tight end Jimmy Graham (No. 5), tackle Bryan Bulaga (No. 4), guard Elgton Jenkins (No. 3), center Corey Linsley (No. 4), defensive tackle Kenny Clark (No. 6), inside linebacker Blake Martinez (No. 3), outside linebacker Za'Darius Smith (No. 5), free safety Darnell Savage (No. 3), cornerback Jaire Alexander (No. 4), cornerback Kevin King (No. 5), kick returner Tremon Smith (No. 7), and special teamer Ty Summers (No. 4).

The Packers have received the third-most fan votes by team total, trailing the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.

Fan voting will continue on NFL.com until Thursday, Dec. 12. Beginning on Thursday, Nov. 28, the vote will open up to Twitter. Fans will be able to cast a vote for their favorite player in each of the following ways:

  • Tweeting the first and last name of the player + the hashtag #ProBowlVote
  • Tweeting the player's official Twitter handle + the hashtag #ProBowlVote
  • Tweeting hashtag including the player's first and last name + the hashtag #ProBowlVote

Fan voting comprises one-third of the overall vote, with coaches and players themselves accounting for the remaining ballots.

Pro Bowl rosters will be announced on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. CT.
