Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is a nominee for NFL Coach of the Week honors for games played November 11-12, the NFL announced Tuesday.

**Fans can vote** on NFL.com for the head coach whose game plan played the greatest role in his team's victory. Voting will take place from Tuesday morning through noon EST on Friday to determine the MOTOROLA NFL COACH OF THE WEEK. The winner will be announced Friday afternoon on NFL.com. In January, voting will be held on NFL.com to determine the MOTOROLA NFL COACH OF THE YEAR.

A closer look at the Motorola NFL Coach of the Week nominees:

-Green Bay Packers head coach MIKE McCARTHY coached the Packers to their first whitewash since 2002 over the Minnesota Vikings who endured their first shut out since 1991 by a score of 34 - 0. Brett Favre passed for 351 yards and three touchdowns to help Green Bay gain 488 total yards. RB Ryan Grant ran for 119 yards and one touchdown as the Packers controlled the clock for 40:40. The Green Bay defense limited the NFC North rival Vikings to only 247 total net yards and 11 first downs.

-St. Louis Rams head coach SCOTT LINEHAN led the Rams to their first victory of the season in their 37 - 29 win over the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome. The Rams gained 409 total yards and controlled the clock for 39:42. Rams QB Marc Bulger threw two touchdowns and RB Steven Jackson also contributed by not only running one into the end zone in the first quarter but also passing one to Randy McMichael in the second quarter. The Rams defense forced two turnovers and limited the Saints to only 43 yards rushing. They also limited the Saints to only seven points in the first three quarters.

-Denver Broncos head coach MIKE SHANAHAN coached his Broncos to a 27 - 11 win over AFC West opponent Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium to bring their record to 4 - 5. The Broncos gained 327 total yards behind the direction of Jay Cutler who threw 192 yards and one touchdown. Rookie Selvin Young ran for 109 yards and one touchdown. The Broncos defense sacked the QB four times, forced four turnovers including two interceptions and two forced fumbles and held the Chiefs to 67 rushing yards.
