Signup is underway for the second season of Home Team Challenge, an online fantasy football game offered by the Green Bay Packers and Time Warner Cable.

An NFL-high 7,000 players participated through www.packers.com in 2005, in the process Packers fans again demonstrating their strong support of the team across all spectrums.

The program, free to participants, offers fantasy owners the chance to win Packers prizes on a weekly basis, a Packers grand prize of a road trip for two to a Packers away game in 2007 and an NFL grand prize of a trip for two to Super Bowl XLI in South Florida in Florida in February.

Cory Ketchmark of Omaha, Neb., won last year's away-game prize and will be traveling with a guest to the Packers-Seahawks game, Nov. 27, in Seattle.

Owners have the option to play on a one-week or season-long basis. Each week, owners will need to set lineups of eight positions, staying under a "salary cap" (lineups will not carry over each week). Values of players may change weekly, as well.

Those who sign up through Packers.com will be tracked on a weekly basis and each week's winner will be awarded a prize. Weekly prizes include a Packers autographed football, a Packers Pro Shop Gift Card or On-Demand movie passes. The grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the season to the team with the most overall points. (To be eligible for the Packers and NFL grand prizes, owners must play the entire season.)
