GREEN BAY – Packers linebacker Oren Burks is questionable to play in Sunday night's regular-season opener against the Bears.
The rookie third-round pick out of Vanderbilt practiced in a limited capacity this week due to the shoulder injury he sustained in Oakland on Aug. 24.
Behind Blake Martinez and Burks, the Packers have been bringing recent veteran acquisitions Antonio Morrison and Korey Toomer up to speed at inside linebacker. Another option, undrafted rookie James Crawford, also has been listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
Safety Josh Jones has been ruled out with the ankle injury that forced him to sit out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday. It'll be the first NFL game the 2017 second-round pick has missed after Jones played in all 16 contests with seven starts last season.
