The Green Bay Packers revealed the dates of their 2004 offseason mini-camps Monday.
Following recent tradition, the first mini-camp will begin just after the NFL Draft (April 24-25), with practices running from Wednesday, April 28, through Sunday, May 2.
Veterans only will participate the first two days of mini-camp, with rookies joining the action starting Friday, April 30.
The second mini-camp will run in two stages from Wednesday, June 2, through Friday, June 4, and then from Monday, June 7, through Friday, June 11.
Traditionally, practices are held once a day during mini-camps, however the Packers have yet to finalize exact practice times for these dates.
Weather cooperating, mini-camps provide fans with great opportunities to get an up-close look at the Packers.
Whenever possible, practices will be held outside on Clarke Hinkle Field, across Oneida Street from Lambeau Field. However, bad weather or poor field conditions would force practices indoors to the Don Hutson Center, where practices are closed to the public due to space limitations.
Training camp dates have not yet been finalized, but will be announced at Packers.com as soon as they become available in the next several weeks. The detailed day-by-day training camp schedule won't be released until mid- to late-May.
