The Green Bay Packers signed LB B.J. Bello to the practice squad and released LB Brady Sheldon from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

Bello, a 6-foot-3, 227-pound second-year player, was originally signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State in 2017. As a rookie, he appeared in 16 games for the Browns and ranked No. 3 on the team with seven special teams tackles. After being released by Cleveland after the 2018 training camp, Bello spent time on the practice squads of the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles before being signed to the Eagles' active roster on Dec. 14, 2018, where he played in three regular-season games and a postseason contest. He was released on June 5, 2019, and spent the 2019 training camp with the Houston Texans before being waived/injured on Aug. 31. Bello will wear No. 59 for the Packers.
