RB Patrick Taylor and QB Blake Bortles

The Green Bay Packers have signed RB Patrick Taylor from the practice squad to the active roster and signed QB Blake Bortles to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Thursday.

Taylor, who has been with the Packers since signing as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Memphis in April 2020, has spent the entire 2021 regular season on Green Bay's practice squad.

Bortles, a 6-foot-5, 236-pound seventh-year player, is rejoining the Packers after spending part of the offseason with Green Bay. He will wear No. 9 for the Packers.
