The Green Bay Packers signed S De'Vante Cross and released WR Malik Taylor. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Wednesday.
Cross (6-0, 216), a rookie out of the University of Virginia, originally signed with the Washington Commanders on May 6, but was released. In college, he played in 59 games with 34 starts (2017-21), recording 129 tackles (78 solo), six interceptions, seven tackles for a loss and two sacks. Cross will wear No. 35 for the Packers.
Taylor joined the Packers in 2019 and played in 25 regular-season games with one start and appeared in two postseason contests.
