GREEN BAY – The first round of voting for the "NFL 100 Greatest Moment" is underway, and Packers fans can cast their vote for the Ice Bowl.
To do so, go to NFL.com/GreatestMoment. Every team has its "greatest moment" posted, and the field of 32 will be whittled down to one winner over the next month.
The first round of voting begins today (Thursday, Jan. 2) and concludes Thursday, Jan. 9. Sixteen team moments will advance to the next round, with four rounds of voting scheduled to reach a winner, which will be announced on the FOX pregame show the morning of the Super Bowl.
The Ice Bowl was the 1967 NFL Championship played at Lambeau Field against the Cowboys in minus-13 degree weather with minus-46 wind chill. The Packers won the game on a QB sneak by Bart Starr in the final seconds, sending them to Super Bowl II, where they won their fifth title in seven years under Vince Lombardi.
