Zavada, in his seventh year as the head coach of the KLC football program, led his team to a 49-28 victory over Random Lake High School. Friday's victory gave KLC their first conference win and best start since 2010.

"It's been a really good year for our young team," said Zavada. "They continue to work hard every day and improve each week. I'm proud of our kids, coaches and the support we receive from the community."
