Packers Take TE Bubba Franks In First Round Of NFL Draft
Looking to bolster their offensive attack, the Green Bay Packers kicked off their 2000 NFL Draft by selecting TE Bubba Franks from Miami (Fla.) with the 14th pick in the draft.
The Green and Gold stayed on the offensive side of the ball in the second round, adding tackle Chad Clifton from Tennessee to their offensive line corps.
The Packers wrapped up day 1 by grabbing DT Steve Warren out of Nebraska in the third round.
GM Ron Wolf kicked off day 2 of the NFL draft by moving up in the 4th round to select Ohio State linebacker Na'il Diggs. The Packers obtained the 98th pick in the draft from San Francisco by giving the 49ers the 108th and 132nd picks in the draft.
Among the positions addressed on day 2 were wide receiver (3), safety, defensive end, guard, defensive tackle, linebacker (2) and running back.

Packers Top Choice Chats With Fans After The Draft
The Packers first round draft pick, TE Bubba Franks, arrived in Green Bay on Sunday and met with the Wisconsin media for the first time early Sunday evening.
