Packers vs. Ravens: Performances to watch

Baltimore could look to take some shots

GREEN BAY – As Baltimore makes its first visit to Lambeau Field since 2009, here's a quick rundown of what to keep an eye on.

1. Big-play hunt: All the talk from the Ravens this week, coming off their bye, was about taking more shots downfield in the passing game. QB Joe Flacco has never been shy to let it fly, and with Breshad Perriman, Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace, he has receivers with speed. So far in 2017, that hasn't translated to a lot of big plays, but the Ravens are hoping to change that. This will be a bigger challenge for the Packers' secondary than last week.

**

  1. Opportunity knocking:** Last week, rookie RB Jamaal Williams had to take over in the backfield due to injuries, and he delivered with 20 carries for 67 yards in the second half in Chicago. With Aaron Jones (knee) out and Ty Montgomery (ribs) not practicing this week, Williams looks to be the main man again, with fellow rookie Devante Mays perhaps in line to get his first NFL carries. A seventh-round draft pick out of Utah State, Mays is the biggest of the Packers' three rookie backs at 230 pounds but hasn't yet played in the regular season on offense.

3. Best vs. best: Packers LT David Bakhtiari was selected for his first Pro Bowl last year. Ravens pass rusher Terrell Suggs has been chosen to six Pro Bowls. Two of the best at what they do square off for the first time since Bakhtiari’s rookie season in 2013.

**

  1. Special connection:** The fourth quarter put together by QB Brett Hundley and WR Davante Adams was a special one. Heading into the final period, Hundley had a passer rating around 86, and Adams had just two catches for 11 yards. By game's end, Hundley's rating was up to 110, and Adams had five grabs, 90 yards, and a touchdown. The chemistry between the two was evident, and now it's time to build on it.

5. NFC North action: Two of the hottest teams in the NFC meet one state over as the Rams visit the Vikings. The Lions, who travel to Chicago, and the Packers are both two games back of Minnesota and would have an opportunity to pull within one game of the Vikings should Los Angeles win on the road. Then, regardless of today's results, the Vikings and Lions go head-to-head four days from now on Thanksgiving.
