A Statement From The Favre Family


There has been a huge outpouring of support since we received word of Irvin's passing of a massive heart attack on Sunday night.

We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorial contributions be made in the name of Irvin Favre to:

The funeral services for Irvin Favre will be held on Wednesday, December 24.

8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Visitation

Following the visitation will be a mass and burial.

Irvin Favre, the father of Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre, died Sunday after suffering a heart attack or stroke while driving near his home in Kiln, Miss. Irvin Favre was 58.
