GREEN BAY -- Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and WR Jordy Nelson are nominees for the 25th annual ESPY awards, which will be presented on ESPN on Wednesday, July 12, at 7 p.m. CT.
Rodgers has been nominated for "Best NFL Player" after leading the league in 2016 with 40 touchdown passes. Rodgers also ranked fourth in passing yards (4,428) and passer rating (104.2), and set a single-season franchise record with 401 completions.
The other nominees in the category are New England QB Tom Brady, Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott, Oakland LB Khalil Mack and Atlanta QB Matt Ryan. Fans can cast their vote by clicking here.
Nelson has been nominated for "Best Comeback Athlete" after winning the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award from The Associated Press. Coming off an ACL injury that cost him the entire 2015 season, Nelson caught 97 passes for 1,257 yards and a league-leading 14 TDs in 2016.
