Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 3.
Rodgers completed 24 of 35 passes for 333 yards with five touchdowns for a 138.5 passer rating in the 38-28 victory over Kansas City. It was his fourth career five-TD game, setting a franchise record he previously held jointly with Brett Favre.
The game was also Rodgers' 15th with four or more TD passes since 2010, one shy of the NFL leader in that time span, Drew Brees.
Rodgers also extended his interception-free streak at Lambeau Field to 580 pass attempts and 48 TD passes (including playoff games) since his last interception at home, which came in Week 13 of 2012. He also has posted a 100-plus passer rating in 10 straight regular-season home games with at least 15 pass attempts, tying an NFL record held by Kurt Warner (1999-2000).
The player of the week award is the 13th of Rodgers' career, also most in franchise history (Favre, 12) and most in the league since 2010. For the season so far, Rodgers has completed 67 of 91 passes (73.6 percent) for 771 yards with 10 TDs and no interceptions for a 135.4 rating.
