All Tickets For Packers Pep Rally Distributed

All 15,000 tickets available for the Packers Playoff Pep Rally, set for 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, have been distributed, the organization announced Thursday.

"We thank all our fans for the tremendous interest in the Playoff Pep Rally," said Bill Hawker, Packers manager of corporate sales and member of the event committee. "It promises to be a great way to get ready for the next day's playoff game.

"For those not attending, we encourage them to watch the TV program from the event that night at 7 p.m. on WFRV-TV and other Packers Television Network stations around the state."

The free event will be centered in Lambeau Field's north end zone seating area. The north end zone location allows for an efficient turnaround by the stadium's staff for the Divisional Playoff game at 3:30 p.m. the following day against a to-be-determined opponent.

A stage will host a live band, as well as a special live TV program. Packers officials and alumni will participate. Concessions also will be open, serving food and beverage, as well as Packers Pro Shop merchandise. Other pep rally features include giveaways, including tickets to the Jan. 12 playoff game, an Ariens snow blower and autographed Packers memorabilia.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks show at 9 p.m.

WFRV-TV will originate the special telecast from the event from 7 to 8 p.m. that will air live statewide on the Packers Television Network. Larry McCarren, Burke Griffin, Jessie Garcia and Lance Allan will host the program with numerous guests, which will feature a breakdown of the on-field match-up.

In addition to WFRV in Green Bay, the network includes WTMJ/NBC, Milwaukee; WKOW/ABC, Madison, Wis.; WAOW/ABC, Wausau/Rhinelander, Wis.; WXOW/ABC, La Crosse, Wis.; WQOW/ABC, Eau Claire; WYOW/ABC, Eagle River, Wis.; WJMN/CBS, Marquette, Mich.

The Packers' flagship radio station, 620 WTMJ, will be on hand with a live remote.

Packers Playoff Pep Rally sponsors are Copps, Pick 'N Save, MasterCard and Ticketmaster.
