Packers offensive tackle Chad Clifton gave fans an unexpected treat Friday, mingling and signing autographs at the 2003 Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale.

Nearly 500 fans were waiting when the doors opened at Lambeau Field's Gameday Pro Shop, located on the west side of the stadium.

This year's event, moved indoors to the west concourse, features several discounted items including hats, t-shirts, shorts and outerwear plus several items donated by the Packers' equipment staff. Fans have the opportunity to purchase jerseys, shoes, workout apparel and several other items previously worn by the Packers.

The sale has already been a huge success, according to Kate Hogan, Senior Manager of Retail Operations for the Packers. Over 2000 fans had found their way through the maze of merchandise before the doors closed on Friday.

Plenty of discounted items remain for the final day of the sale, which will continue Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
