With a busy weekend ahead, Titletown is reminding community members about the variety of upcoming free activities to enjoy, including the Movies at Titletown presented by Circle K double feature on Saturday and World Soccer Championship Match Watch Party on Sunday.
Movies at Titletown presented by Circle K will return on Saturday, July 18, for a double-feature showing of family favorite films "Beauty and the Beast" at 4 p.m. and "Princess Diaries" at 6:30 p.m.
Pre-movie activities will begin one hour prior to each showtime. This will give community members and families time to participate in movie-themed programming, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and purchase food and beverages on-site.
Following the Saturday double-feature, the final World Soccer Watch party will welcome soccer supporters back to Titletown on Sunday, July 19, for a viewing of Argentina vs. Spain in the highly anticipated Championship Match on the big screen at the base of Ariens Hill, with kickoff set for 2 p.m.
Titletown is celebrating the Championship Match by offering family-friendly activities throughout the day, including Giant Yard Pong, a Header Challenge, Poster and Post Card Station, Giant Games, Face Painting, Free Play Soccer Pitch on Emplify Health Field and more. Food trucks from Steel Belly BBQ, Philly's & York and Legendairy will be on site with food and drinks available for purchase between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Live music will also take place at the base of Ariens Hill with Big Mouth set to perform starting at 11 a.m.
Parking is free in the Titletown parking lots, and attendees are reminded that tailgating is not permitted. Fans are also asked to keep in mind the park's policies as they prepare to enjoy the festivities. Carry-in coolers, glass bottles, portable grills and outside food and beverages are not permitted in Titletown. Please note that lawn chairs are only permitted in the designated area below the white line on Ariens Hill. Pets are welcome at Titletown, but guests are reminded that they must be leashed and remain on walking paths; pets are not permitted on the grass of Ariens Hill.
