Davis Allocated To Rhein Fire

Newly-signed wide receiver Shockmain Davis has been allocated to the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, Green Bay Packers director of pro personnel Reggie McKenzie confirmed Monday.

Davis played 12 games for the New England Patriots in 2000 as a rookie out of Angelo State. He signed with the Packers, February 18, 2004.

Davis is one of 13 Packers players allocated to NFL-E, which began training camps in Florida, February 27.

Running back Walter Williams also has been assigned to the Fire.

Other Packers players preparing for stints in the NFL's spring developmental league are listed below.

Players will continue to train in Florida until departing for the home European cities, March 21-25.

The NFL-E season begins April 3, culminating June 12 in World Bowl XII.
