Hunt To Begin April 13; Sign-Up For Online Draft Pick Contest Underway

The Green Bay Packers Draft Party this year will offer two new features, a medallion hunt and an online draft pick contest.

The Packers Draft Party Medallion Hunt will feature a gold-colored, three-inch medallion, hidden somewhere in a public location in Brown County, with the finder to reap rewards valued at $500. Some of the booty includes two tickets to the Draft Party, a one-night hotel stay, two tickets to a to-be-determined 2009 Packers home game with two pregame sideline passes and gift cards.

A total of 10 clues pointing toward the hidden location will be given, one each day beginning April 13 and continuing through April 23. Interested hunters can sign up to receive the clues early each morning via e-mail. The clues also will be posted on Packers.com and can be retrieved via telephone on a call-in "Draft Party Medallion Hunt Clue Line."

The online draft pick contest, the Draft Day Challenge, calls for participants to pick the top five players chosen in the draft, plus the Packers' No. 1 selection. Should a trade or trades take place in the top five spots, it will not matter as the contest calls for the player to be selected at each pick, not the team making the pick.

The contest participant who correctly picks the top five picks and the Packers' No. 1 pick will receive a prize package valued at $500 that includes a Packers prize bucket, autographed items from cornerbacks Charles Woodson and Al Harris, a one-year Legend Membership to the Packers Partner Club of Champions Packers Fan Club, four tickets to Packers Family Night, a one-night hotel stay and gift cards.

Further details on both the medallion hunt and online draft pick contest, with sign-up information, can be found online at www.packers.com/fanzone/events/draftparty. Participants in both contests are limited to U.S. residents.

Tickets for the Draft Party, held April 25 in the Lambeau Field Atrium, are priced at $25 and currently are on sale at 18 Wisconsin Mills Fleet Farm locations and must be purchased in person. Children ages 6 and younger are free. The event will run from 3 to 9 p.m. (doors will open at 2 p.m.). Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as a limited number are available due to the Lambeau Field Atrium's capacity.
