Driver Will Introduce Book at Press Conference Prior to Book Signing
Packers wide receiver Donald Driver will introduce his new children's book, Quickie Handles a Loss, at an 11 a.m. press conference Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Packers Pro Shop, to be followed immediately by a book signing until 1 p.m., also at the Pro Shop.
Quickie Handles a Loss is an inspirational story about a little boy, Quickie, dealing with the adversity of a friend moving away. A follow-up to Driver's first book, Quickie Makes the Team, it is a wonderfully illustrated, full color, 25-page hard-cover book.
Priced at $19.95, the book is available for purchase at the Packers Pro Shop and online at www.packersproshop.com. It also is available online through www.donalddriver80.com and www.donalddriverfoundation.com, and at other state stores such as Barnes & Noble, Piggly Wiggly, Shopko, Goodwill, Schwartz Bookshops and Bookworld.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Donald Driver Foundation.
