Entries for fifth annual Packers Hall of Fame Art Contest due Jan. 31

Contest, celebrating Youth Art Month, open to school-aged children in grades K-12

The Packers are reminding fans that entries for the Packers Hall of Fame fifth annual art contest are due Jan. 31. The contest is open to school-aged children in grades K-12.

The theme, 'Pick Your Packer' (present player or past great player), will be judged on a basis of creativity, originality and overall impression.

Artwork will be judged in four different grade levels: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. There will be one winner per age group and the artwork will be judged by students from St. Norbert College and art instructor Father Jim Neilson. With the Hall of Fame now closed for the Lambeau Field Atrium renovation project, the winners' artwork this year will be displayed in the Atrium during the month of March. The winners will also each receive a $100 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop.

The registration period will continue until Jan. 31, 2014. All entries must be accompanied with entry form, signed by the artist and the parent, guardian or teacher attesting to the originality of the work and verifying the artist's grade as of Jan. 31, 2014. Winners will be notified by Feb. 17, 2014. Registration for the contest and full details are available at packers.com/lambeau-field/hall-of-fame/art-contest.html

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame is now closed for stadium renovations, and will reopen in April 2015. Lambeau Field stadium tours are still available for $11 ($8 for children 10 and younger). For more information, please visit packers.com/lambeau-field/stadium-tours.html.
