'IN THE HUDDLE WITH THE FAVRES' TO FEATURE DEANNA FAVRE'S INSPIRING STORY

The Brett Favre Fourward Foundation's eighth annual Green Bay charity dinner will take place Friday, Sept. 15, at the Lambeau Field Atrium.

This year's theme, 'In the Huddle with the Favres,' will feature Deanna Favre at 'quarterback' for the evening, with attendees hearing Deanna's inspiring story, in her own words through a profound presentation. Following a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 35, just one week after the loss of her brother, Deanna was forced to confront her own challenges. Through hope, faith and love, Deanna has triumphed over the disease. In addition to her work on behalf of the Favre Fourward Foundation, Deanna has founded the Deanna Favre HOPE Foundation, to benefit breast cancer patients.

The dinner program also includes comments from Brett Favre and other members of the Favre family. Silent and oral auctions will highlight the evening as well. A reception and silent auction begin at 6 p.m., with the dinner and program to follow at 7 p.m.

Tables of eight are available for purchase for $3,000. To purchase a table or to obtain further information, contact Beth Seymour at 877/268-3232.

All proceeds from the evening benefit the Favre Fourward Foundation.

The mission of the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, is to provide aid to disadvantaged or disabled children who reside in Wisconsin and Mississippi. Started in 1996, the Foundation has raised in excess of $3 million for charities in the two states.
