Former Packers McCarren and McCoy to meet with fans this weekend

Former players at Packers Pro Shop Saturday, Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club Sunday

Leading up to the Green Bay Packers game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Oct. 6, featured Packers alumni Larry McCarrenand Mike P. McCoywill be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Packers Pro Shop on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. 

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature McCoy on gameday* *from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Sunday, McCarrenwill be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Clubon the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the 'Alumni Meet and Greet.'

McCarren, one of the most durable and dependable athletes ever to wear Packers green and gold, is fifth in team annals for most consecutive games played with 162. A 12th-round pick in 1973, the two-time Pro Bowler and Packers Hall of Famer, nicknamed "The Rock," played 12 seasons at center for the Packers before beginning a career in sports broadcasting and becoming a fan favorite on the Packers Radio Network.

McCoy, drafted No. 1 by the Packers and second overall in 1970, started at defensive tackle for the Packers from the opening game of his rookie year. Named the Packers Rookie of the Year by the Wisconsin Pro Football Writers, he went on to rank among the NFL's premier defensive tackles. A dominant figure on the Packers' front line, McCoy recovered nine fumbles throughout his seven seasons.

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
