The Green Bay Packers Wednesday announced that WTMJ-TV's Jessie Garcia, a sideline reporter for Packers preseason game telecasts, and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Lori Nickel, a Packers beat reporter, will be featured presenters at 'Football 101, An NFL Workshop for Women,' Dec. 5.

Packers players Al Harris, Colin Cole, Craig Nall and B.J. Sander will participate in the evening's activities as well.

An interactive and entertaining evening geared for women to learn the basics of football, 'Football 101' will take place on the Associated Bank Club Level at the Lambeau Field Atrium and in the Don Hutson Center. Cost for the evening is $65.

Garcia and Nickel will host a general lecture about football and take part in a question-and-answer session with Colin and Kaye Cole, Craig and Amanda Nall and B.J. and Beth Sander.

The evening's activities also include a welcome reception, a tour of Lambeau Field and a clinic and drills session with the players at the Don Hutson Center.

The evening's agenda is as follows:

4 to 5 p.m. - Registration, Associated Bank Club Level; hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

5 to 5:45 p.m. - Welcome and informative football lecture led by Garcia and Nickel.

5:45 to 6:15 p.m. - Question-and-answer session with Packers players and their wives.

6:30 to 7 p.m. - Tour of Lambeau Field.

7 to 8:30 p.m. - Clinic/drills with Packers players at the Don Hutson Center.

A portion of the proceeds from 'Football 101' will benefit the Packers Women's Association (PWA), a non-profit organization whose main focus is "teaming up with the community."

Tickets for the evening are still available, but interested purchasers are advised to sign up soon to secure at spot. Payment of $65 is due in advance. Sign-up forms are available online at www.packers.com. Interested women also may register by calling 920/569-7249. A ticket for the event will be sent following receipt of the registration fee.
