The Green Bay Packers today announced the launch of The Owner's Club, a wine subscription service featuring the team, its history, the city of Green Bay and great state of Wisconsin in a series of premium handcrafted wines under the brand name Winning Standard Napa Valley. The subscription club and wine brand were developed in partnership with Fairwinds Estate Winery in Napa Valley in Calistoga, California.

Winning Standard Napa Valley offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the past, present and future of the Packers with family and friends. The Owner's Club membership includes two shipments of premium wine per year with either three or six bottles, along with the option to add additional wines based on club seniority. Club members will also gain discounted access to replenish their cellars and send special wooden box gift sets to family, friends, colleagues and customers. Each bottle will tell the story of an aspect of the team and its history or honor unique qualities, culture, traditions or locations in Green Bay and Wisconsin.

"The Packers are proud to team up with Fairwinds Estate Winery for our new Winning Standard wines, which have been crafted to honor our team's tradition of excellence and championship history," said Craig Benzel, Packers vice president of sales and business development. "We're looking forward to sharing these wines with our fans and giving them a new way to celebrate the Packers no matter the season."

A collection of six varietals has been developed and will be released each season in two shipments. The inaugural release of wine will arrive November 2022, with the second scheduled to arrive in time for the 2023 NFL Draft. Each shipment will arrive in a keepsake fire-branded Green Bay Packers wooden wine crate.

Those who enroll in membership early will establish seniority and have opportunities to purchase limited production wines and attend future private events in Green Bay and at Fairwinds Estate Winery in Napa Valley. To receive new release shipments and purchase additional bottles and gift sets at club prices, fans must be a member of The Owner's Club.

The first three wines of the inaugural shipment will include:

  1. Winning Standard: a Napa Valley red Bordeaux blend
  2. Wind Chill: an elegant and approachable Russian River Valley Chardonnay
  3. Publicly Owned: a Napa Valley Rosé made in the Saignée method

"It is an honor to be working with the Green Bay Packers to bring Winning Standard Napa Valley to the Frozen Tundra," said Brandon Chaney, Proprietor and CEO of Fairwinds Estate Winery. "These special wines are meticulously handcrafted in the spirit and tradition where toughness and grit are passed down through generations."

About Fairwinds Estate Winery:

Fairwinds Estate Winery is nestled in the hillside off the Silverado Trail in the northern realm of Napa Valley. The historic winery was the fourth established in Napa Valley after prohibition. In September 2020, the winery suffered extensive damage in the Glass Fire that wreaked havoc in the wine country. Serendipitously, Fairwinds' wine inventory and production was spared in its underground wine caves. Planning is underway to rebuild the damaged structures on the majestic property to create an iconic architecture statement for visitors to enjoy in the future. Fairwinds is currently open for tastings and events in its 22,000-sf wine cave by appointment.
