Fan-favorite ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza in Titletown is now officially open for another season of fun.
Skating rink hours, admission and rental prices are available at titletown.com/visit/skating. Visitors are reminded that everyone using the rink must complete a waiver and waivers can be filled out ahead of time at titletown.com/waivers.
Season and daily passes for ice skating on Hy-Vee Plaza can be purchased in-person at the Admissions Building adjacent to Ariens Hill or by emailing winteroperations@delawarenorth.com. Passes purchased online during this year's presale can also be picked up now at the Admissions Building. Minors must be accompanied by an adult to obtain passes.
Throughout December, families are invited to enjoy a variety of themed skating experiences. On Saturday mornings, children can skate with Santa during Santa Skate and can share the ice with a different holiday character as part of Characters on Ice on Tuesday evenings.
Glow Skate will take place Thursday evenings, featuring brightly colored lights illuminating the rink. Community members can also take advantage of several Family Skate opportunities, a designated time for skaters of all ages and abilities to enjoy the rink at a more relaxed pace.
As the season continues, Theme Skate will occur on Tuesday nights in January and February, and Skating Lessons will be offered on Wednesday evenings. Titletown will also host several Community Nights throughout the season with discounted admission available to guests.
Titletown is also gearing up to celebrate the winter season with the free Winter Jubilee Warm Up, presented by EUA and Shopko Optical, on Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29. The Winter Jubilee Light Show presented by EUA and Shopko Optical will also return, debuting at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28.
