Hi, Inboxers! It's me, your guest writer, and I have the biggest news ever. Mike and Wes are gone and have left the pen to me. Writing for II and joining this elusive club has always been a goal of mine and I've finally infiltrated the ranks. I know you're asking – Why'd they leave? When will they return? And who am I? That's not a secret I'll ever tell.
You know you love me. XOXO – Admin.
Onto the questions!
Dan from Waupun, WI
Will Friday's II go better with coffee or beer?
Beer. Speaking of…
Gordon from Newport Beach, CA
You happen upon a friend's tailgate at Lambeau. What's your first choice: burger, beer or brat?
Beer in one hand and brat in the other.
Todd from Owasso, OK
Please, please, please let "admin" be Micah Parsons. That would be so much fun!
Hi Todd! You're right. Could you imagine if the person answering you right now were Micah Parsons?
Monty from Velva, ND
Guest writer on Friday? WHAT!? Oh, the intrigue! Oh, the tension! You guys never cease to amaze me with the way you keep this column interesting. I'm just hoping it is Larry McCarren. Can we please make that happen?
Now that's an idea…
James from Eugene, OR
What can you do to bring in diehard Packer fans in Oregon? I live in Whiners & Seachix country and it's hard connecting with other Pack fans!
Hi James! I hear ya. Take a look at our Packers Everywhere Find a Bar website. You'll be able to find Packers bars near you! Hopefully then you can meet some new friends and bond over how much you love Daniel Whelan and how badly you'd like to visit Edgerrin Cooper's farm. Oh wait, sorry, I think I was just projecting how I make new friends.
Eric from Crossville, TN
Wes and Mike both get promoted to the same position at competing companies. They both want you to join their team. Who do you go with and why? (Lol... you can skip this question)
Eric coming in with the hard-hitting questions! This is an interesting conundrum to think about. It really all comes down to what each company does, what my role would be, and if I could bring my dog into the office with me. Actually, it would only come down to if I could bring my dog with me.
Jonathon from Wilmington, NC
What is the greatest thing about living in Green Bay? The food, people, climate (HA), cost of living, nature, peacefulness or something else? Thanks. GPG!
The people, 100%. I've lived and worked all over the country, but I can confidently say this is one of the best places I've been. I love knowing that I'll be here for the foreseeable future and that I'm able to put some roots down. We also have everything we need in Green Bay. There's enough space to spread out and can experience all four seasons. Do I miss living in a big city? Sure. But I truly have never been happier than where I am at right now.
Chuck from Menomonie, WI
It's always a pleasure to see Packer players become involved in various nonprofit organizations within the community as well as the world at large. Can you provide us a listing of current Packers along with their preferred charities? Thank you!
One of the reasons I love this organization is our community involvement. Being a Packer isn't only defined by who you are on the field, but also what you do off it and the impact you have. Our players tend to really embody that. Every year we have a lot of participation in the My Cause My Cleats campaign, where players can create custom cleats to represent a cause of their choice. We typically have some great creative content and a list of their charities on our website, app, and social media channels. Speaking of social channels, we have dedicated accounts to promote the work our players, staff, and organization do in the community year-round. You can follow @PackersOutreach on Instagram, Facebook and X if you want to keep up with everything!
The Green Bay Packers held training camp practice on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026.

Bill from Forest Park, OH
OK, color me very intrigued about this Friday's Inbox and finding out who "admin" is! Will their photo be a dark blurred out face (thinking "Deep Throat" from Watergate), or have a paper bag over their head ala The Gong Show? Getting my popcorn ready!
Thinking more along the lines of the "Instagram Egg" that went viral in 2019.
Dave from Comer, GA
Here's a non-football question for "Admin." Not that I'm unhappy with Mike and Wes, but what are the chances of getting John Kuhn onto "Packers Unscripted" once in a while, just to get a player's perspective?
Oh, that could be fun. Everyone, please raise your hands if you'd like a special guest every now and then on Unscripted. Maybe we'll get to brainstorming. Oh! Maybe I could be the first one. An "Admin" reveal if you will.
Arthur from Eau Claire, WI
To " Admin": Are you feeling any pressure from being tossed into the II fire by subbing for the Dynamic Duo?
Yes, I'm feeling a lot of pressure to live up to Mike and Wes. However, I know my limits and know I'll never come close to their level. They are true pros and hustle like no other. Nobody is doing it like them!
David from Janesville, WI
Hello Admin! My first question: What is your name? Second, do you know the first rule of Inbox? Finally, how did this unique opportunity present itself?
Hi, David from Janesville! 1. Guess. 2. Of course I do. 3. I asked really nicely.
Jessi from Sterling, KS
The II Sub must tell us something personal or we just won't feel right. My go-to, "What's your favorite drink?" I feel that's important in developing friendships. Because before I asked you two I would have slipped and brought Mike a latte, thinking I am treating him. With Wes, I would have missed he was a pumpkin spice latte guy in the fall. We fans like to delude ourselves into projected online friendship with you guys :)
If we're going with coffee, I will drink anything. I lived in Seattle for a time and my eyes and tastebuds were opened. My go-to is either a simple cold brew with milk and sugar, or if I'm feeling fancy, an iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I just really need the caffeine sometimes.
Jeff from Montclair, VA
I know it's only a week in, but any indication of how hot the piss is at this stage?
Jeff, this might be my FAVORITE question. You know your audience. The piss could not be hotter.
Cott from Seattle, WA
Greetings Guest Insider. It's been debated and discussed in this space before, but we would like your take. Is a hot dog a sandwich? Thanks for hanging out with us.
Yes, it is.
Neil from Tunbridge Wells, UK
If you could choose a current/past player to get them ride your kid's bike, who would it be?
There are so many great players to choose from! Current player: Edgerrin Cooper. He always has the biggest smile on his face, is super positive, and really present with the people he's around. It's hard to pick just one current player, though. Past player: Mason Crosby. He's just the best, man.
Elbow from Madison, WI
Greetings, admin! Your job seems super stressful, what do you do to unwind? Perhaps you should try the game Goat Simulator. It's quite fun and I think you would enjoy. Anywho, do you have any pets? Thanks for everything you do for the Green & Gold!
Hi Elbow! Unique name. Does it run in your family? My job is pretty stressful, you're right. I have played Goat Simulator! How crazy is that? Thank you for bringing that up, actually. I've been pretty stuck getting a Golden Goat in the pool in GoatVille. Does anyone have advice? Onto your next question. I would really love a pet goat to hang out with my two dogs. I have a Mini Bernedoodle and a Beagle/Bulldog mix. They keep me on my toes!
Deloris from Wakanda, IL
What's an approach to social media that you aim to bring to the Packers everyday? How have things changed since you have gotten the job?
Deloris! Thanks for this question. Will you allow me to nerd out for a bit? First and foremost, I want our social media to be approachable. We're the only fan-owned team and I want our audience to feel like they know us. The Packers brand is very recognizable and historic, and we try to bring all of that to our audience in a way they trust and get excited about. I also want us to relate with our players and share their personalities with the audience. We must balance that with the history and tradition of our organization. It's a fun challenge! Our jobs are also one of the few that represent every department, member, unit, part of our organization. We have to share all the information in an entertaining way to an audience that changes daily. What works one day will not at all the next. It keeps us on our toes, for sure! I could also bore you with data, KPIs, strategy, sales requirements, etc., but I'll save that for another day.
Dean from Belmont, MI
So Admin, if Mike steals a lunch from Wes, does Wes then get to steal a lunch from you? Just wondering how the hierarchy works.
Everybody eats.
Davy from Watertown, WI
"Admin" huh? Way to not get everyone overexcited and wondering about who it will be. John Kuhn? Micah Parsons? An intern? The main man Vic himself? Misiorowski? Jonathan Gannon? Tony Shalhoub? We really must know.
I love the mystery.
Barry C from De Pere, WI
Hey, Super Sub, welcome to the jungle! While the guys are away, how many interns can you stuff into the office space? My O/U is 20, because I believe you can do it like Javon Bullard stuffs plays. Please, record this for posterity, too!
This seems like it could be a great open locker room video idea. Thank you, Barry!
Randal from Overbrook, KS
Will Family Night be streamed as in the past for those without TV access?
YES! We are so excited to stream Family Night on packers.com and our app this year.
Shannon from Ovilla, TX
Mystery writer, did you volunteer for this assignment or were you voluntold? What is the best part of knowing Mike and Wes? What kind of perks do you get from your relationship with these two?
I volunteered! Mike and Wes were gracious enough and gave me the opportunity. The best part of knowing Mike and Wes is getting to work with two living legends.
Mark from Amarillo, TX
Non-football question here. What is the earliest in the spring and latest in the fall that a beverage may be enjoyed outside in the evening in Green Bay?
Nobody loves a patio drink more than me so I'm always pushing the boundaries. The one perfect 65 degree day we get in March is the start. The fall, however, is where the lines get blurred. Are you bundled near a fire? Are you drinking a warm drink? I have some more follow-up questions before I can give you a definitive answer.
Mark from Burnt Hill, NB Canada
Well, hello "admin" and welcome to the zoo that is II! This likely won't be the only version of this question, but here goes my take on it. As one of the 98.99% that would love to be sitting in your chair right now (there has to be at least 1% that love their jobs, or else there's zero hope for us!), clue me in. What's it like to walk into 1265 every day? Have you ever stolen Weston's lunch and blamed it on Spoff? When questioned, is your go-to indubitably or OK? Asparagus on brats? Y-N?
It's the best! Each day is completely different than the last and that's why we work in this industry. No, I have not ever stolen Wes's lunch and blamed it on Spoff. That's a fight I'd rather watch with popcorn. I'm partial to the "OK." Who is putting asparagus on brats? Are they okay?
Kerry from Lakewood Ranch, FL
For the guest columnist, would you rather have lunch with Mike or Wes?
Both at the same time.
Harry from Chicago, IL
If you were a hotdog, and you were starving to death, would you eat yourself?
Thank you for submitting our next question-of-the-day topic. I could get deeply philosophical with my answer, but I should probably break it down with my therapist first.
