Packers WR Jordy Nelson was voted No. 18 by his NFL peers in the latest segment of NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2015. His ranking was revealed on Wednesday night's show.

In being selected to his first Pro Bowl, Nelson finished 2014 with a career-high 98 receptions for a franchise single-season record 1,519 yards, topping the 1,497 yards recorded by Robert Brooks in 1995. Nelson had 13 touchdown catches, the second-highest total in his career (15 in 2011) and tied for the second-highest in the league last year with Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown, behind only Dallas' Dez Bryant (16).

Seven of Nelson's TD receptions were 40 yards or longer, tops in the league and tied for the best in franchise history for a single season (Billy Howton, 1952). He began the year with a career-best 209-yard game in Week 2 vs. the Jets, the highest single-game receiving output by a Green Bay player in 18 years. It was one of seven games in which he had at least 100 receiving yards on the season.

This is the highest rakning Nelson has received in the annual vote of the NFL's current players. He was ranked No. 80 in 2012 and No. 83 in 2014.

He's the fifth Packers player to make the Top 100 list this year, joining WR Randall Cobb (No. 100), LB Julius Peppers (No. 71), RB Eddie Lacy (No. 60) and LB Clay Matthews (No. 51).
