Green Bay Packers Assistant Athletic Trainer Kurt Fielding is being inducted into the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame. It is the highest honor a member of WATA can receive. The inductees will be honored at the WATA Awards Banquet on April 25 in Oshkosh.

Fielding has been an assistant athletic trainer for the Packers since 1991. He originally joined the organization as a seasonal intern in 1988, a position he worked in for three years. Fielding has been part of staffs that were honored as the NFL's Athletic Training Staff of the Year after the 1992 and 2011 seasons. During his time with Green Bay, he has been on staff for three Super Bowls, including the franchise's victories in Super Bowls XXXI and XLV, and worked five Pro Bowls. Fielding served as the NFC Assistant Athletic Trainer Representative for the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society Executive Committee from 1997-2005. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse graduate worked on the State of Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Credentialing Board for 11 years (2013-23), including five years as the chairperson.
