One of the most recognizable venues in the world of sports is now available for fans to experience in an entirely new way.

The Green Bay Packers announced Thursday that the Lambeau Field Atrium, opening in September, is now accepting bookings for corporate meetings, community events, weddings, reunions, private parties and other special events.

"The ambience and experience of being at Lambeau Field is what makes the Atrium facility unlike any other," said Dee Geurts-Bengtson, Green Bay Packers Executive of Special Events. "It allows you to be part of the rich tradition of the Green Bay Packers. Imagine holding a corporate meeting or other special event where legends were born and teamwork was made famous. It's inspiring."

The Lambeau Field Atrium is part of the $295 million redevelopment of Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers. It will be a year-round destination for Packers fans from around the world. The Atrium will combine meeting and event facilities with a brewpub, an interactive fan zone, the Packers Pro Shop, the Packers Hall of Fame, and other exciting elements.

"The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Internet access, full audio visual capabilities and more," Geurts-Bengtson said. "We're also proud of the fine catering service we have available through Levy Restaurants, a nationally-known, award winning restaurateur."

The Atrium is a 365,000-square-foot, five-story structure on the

east side of the newly redeveloped Lambeau Field. The main entrance on Lombardi Avenue features an 85-foot-high by 208-foot-wide span of glass.

The Atrium floor can accommodate theater-style seating for more than 1,000 and banquet-style seating for approximately 800. The club level can also accommodate large gatherings, while more intimate settings are available for smaller groups. The Legends Club area, for instance, has four rooms named for legendary Packers Bart Starr, Johnny "Blood" McNally, Willie Davis and Paul Hornung. And when you book your event at the Lambeau Field Atrium, your guests have the opportunity to view Lambeau Field.

"I'm tremendously proud of this chapter in the Green Bay Packers' story," said Bob Harlan, Packers President and CEO. "We're a community owned team in a small city, with 12 championships, 20 individuals in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a legendary stadium that has now been renovated to provide the opportunity to hold memorable events in this historic venue."

"The Lambeau Field Atrium strengthens the Packers' organization as a whole and will help us remain competitive in the NFL," Harlan said.
