Lambeau Field Atrium to host 14th annual Spooktacular Oct. 1

The Green Bay Packers will again host the popular Halloween-themed event Spooktacular this October.

Spooktacular,free to the public, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, in the Lambeau Field Atrium. Accessed through the Miller Lite Gate, Oneida Nation Gate or American Family Insurance Gate on the east side of the Atrium, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Spooktacular will feature interactive entertainment including music, acrobatics, balloon animals and magic. Children also will have the opportunity to have their faces painted, and put their artistic skills to work at Halloween-themed craft stations.

Those who attend the event are also encouraged to bring new or gently-used winter coats to Lambeau to donate to the Coats for Kidsprogram.

In addition, the Center for Childhood Safety will be in attendance with information on safe trick or treating and the Teal Pumpkin Project.  Pumpkin carver Kevin Rades will be on site carving pumpkin masterpieces and Halloween scenes will be abundant for photo opportunities. 

"We are looking forward to the annual Spooktacular event for the 14th year," said Cathy Dworak, Packers director of community outreach and player/alumni relations. "We always enjoy the opportunity to welcome the community to Lambeau Field, and we are excited to celebrate the coming of fall and Halloween along with our fans and guests."

'Spooktacular' is one in a series of community events held each year as part of Green Bay Packers Give Back, the Packers' all-encompassing community outreach initiative. Combined with other Green Bay Packers charity endeavors, the awards contribute to a comprehensive Packers charity impact that was in excess of $6.5 million in the past year..

9 a.m.: Dave Rudolf's Halloween Spooktacular – music

10 a.m.: Laura Ernst – variety entertainment

11 a.m.: Jim Lenz, the Magic and Science Guy

Noon: Dave Rudolf's Halloween Spooktacular – music

1 p.m.: Laura Ernst – variety entertainment

2 p.m.: Jim Lenz, the Magic and Science Guy
